What Do We Actually Provide?
AI-LAW provides a structured, lawyer-reviewed fixed-fee assessment designed to help clients understand whether a legal matter is worth pursuing, defending or responding to before incurring substantial legal cost.
What Do We Actually Provide?
One of the biggest frustrations people have with traditional legal services is that the first stage often becomes expensive before they even understand where they stand.
A client gathers documents, books an appointment, attends a meeting, explains the problem several times, waits for the solicitor to organise the material, and then receives preliminary advice billed by the hour. In many cases, thousands of dollars can be spent before a clear strategy is even identified.
AI-LAW was designed to restructure that first stage.
The purpose of our fixed-fee review is not to replace lawyers with AI. It is to use AI-assisted workflows to organise information efficiently so that an experienced Australian lawyer can review the matter faster, more systematically, and at a lower initial cost.
What Happens After You Upload Your Matter?
Once you complete the intake process, upload your documents and pay the fixed fee, the material enters a structured review workflow.
The uploaded documents are organised, categorised and processed using AI-assisted systems designed to identify issues, chronology, inconsistencies, procedural concerns and potentially relevant legal themes. This allows the lawyer reviewing the matter to begin from an organised and searchable file rather than from a pile of unsorted documents.
The final assessment itself is lawyer-reviewed.
The AI does not replace legal judgment. It assists with document handling, issue identification and workflow preparation so the lawyer can focus on assessing the substance of the matter.
What Do You Receive?
You receive a written AI-LAW Fixed-Fee Review prepared and reviewed by an Australian practising lawyer.
This is not a generic chatbot response.
It is a structured written assessment designed to answer the practical question most clients actually want answered at the beginning of a legal problem:
- Is this worth pursuing?
- Is this worth defending?
- Do I need to respond urgently?
- Is the other side bluffing?
- Should I sign this contract?
- Am I exposed to risk?
- What should I do next?
The report is usually concise and commercially focused. It is not intended to be a long academic memorandum or a full litigation strategy.
The purpose is to give you a practical first legal assessment and a sensible next step.
What Does the Report Usually Contain?
Depending on the matter and the documents provided, the report will usually address:
- a summary of the matter;
- the documents reviewed;
- the key facts assumed;
- the main issues identified;
- an initial practical assessment;
- the apparent strengths and weaknesses of the position;
- missing information or evidentiary risks;
- whether the matter appears commercially worth pursuing or defending; and
- the recommended next step.
Where appropriate, the report may also identify proportionate fixed-fee next-stage options instead of immediately recommending open-ended litigation.
What This Review Is Not
The $699 Fixed-Fee Review is an initial assessment service.
It does not include:
- contacting the other side;
- going to court;
- filing documents;
- conducting litigation;
- negotiations on your behalf;
- ongoing representation; or
- unlimited legal advice.
Those steps may or may not be appropriate depending on the outcome of the review.
In some matters, the correct advice may actually be that further legal spending is not commercially justified.
If that is our view, we will say so.
Why This Model Exists
Most legal disputes and legal concerns do not initially require full-scale litigation or immediate open-ended legal expenditure.
What most people need first is:
- clarity;
- issue identification;
- risk assessment;
- document review;
- procedural direction; and
- a practical understanding of where they stand.
That is the purpose of the AI-LAW Fixed-Fee Review.
The model is designed to create a more efficient and proportionate first legal step by combining structured AI-assisted workflows with lawyer review and professional judgment.
A Practical First Step
Legal problems are often commercially and emotionally stressful because people do not know whether they have a strong position, a weak position, an urgent problem, or simply incomplete information.
The purpose of the AI-LAW review is to give clients a clearer understanding of their position before they commit to substantial legal cost.
Sometimes the correct next step will be a letter.
Sometimes it will be a negotiated outcome.
Sometimes it will be formal legal representation.
Sometimes it will be no further action at all.
But before any of those decisions are made, the first requirement is usually the same: a structured, practical and lawyer-reviewed assessment of the situation.
That is what AI-LAW provides.
